It’s not been long since our last giveaway, and A Winter Book is still making its way on a slow boat to Texas – but its time for another!
HarperPress sent me two copies of Brixton Beach by Roma Tearne – one for me, and one to give away. Now, I’ve not read it yet, but it will soon be featuring on The TV Book Club, and I thought I should get it out to a reader before the programme is on…
So – this one is for UK readers only, I’m afraid, because that’s where the programme is shown (and I’m counting my pennies…) so, any Brits, please pop your name in the comments to get a copy! I’ll be doing the draw at the weekend, probably. Good luck!
Hi! Count me in! Everything I know about the TV Book Group I learned from book bloggers. So — Thanks.
I gave up on TV book group after that first beyond-dreadful programme, but won't hold that against the books ! Am I allowed to enter after I've been rude about them?
Is it only for Brits or can I use a friend's address in England. I like Roma Tearne also because she is originally Sri Lankan and her book Mosquito has got very good reviews. There is another book in the pipeline Bone China. This is a completely new one for me. If you think I am eligible, please count me in.
Hi! Project 24 needs a boost.
Lucy.
Please put me in. I know nothing about this book or its author but am always up for a surprise.
I agree with m and haven't watched the programme after that terrible first one. I did read about the books they are covering and thought this sounded one of the most interesting. As I've already bought 12 books this month (Project24 is 24 a month isn't it?)please put my name in the draw.
I've already got the book – it's next on my reading list, so don't put me in the draw.
Just thought I'd let you know that the author is doing a book-group chat at Mostly Books in Abingdon on March 10. There are a few spaces – but you do have to have read the book – contact the shop to find out more. I'm going!
I'm not doing Project 24, but I am trying to restrain my book-buying habits this year, so please put me in the draw!
Mystica – I'll put you in, don't worry :-)
Annabel – oo, I don't think I can guarantee to have read the book by then, so I'd best let people nobler than me take the remaining places…
Please count me in – this looks like an interesting read.
Count me in please Simon. I like the look of the cover! (how shallow is that?).
Carole
Please count me in too. I haven't watched the programme yet – must get round to it!
*waves* please add me too, Simon :).
Put my name in the hat please! :)
Congrats, Ann P, you've won! Could you email me your address, please?
