I had no idea what Google Reader did until this morning… and I discover that 116 people read my blog through it! How nice – do say hello if you’re reading Stuck-in-a-Book that way. Maybe some of the regular readers here are closet technophiles?
And I’m hoping (if I can get the ticket website to work) to attend Guy Fraser-Sampson’s talk about Major Benjy and presumably other things Mapp and Lucia, at the Oxford Literary Festival on April 1st at 12pm (more info here, if you scroll down) – anyone want to join me? I blogged about Major Benjy here, and conducted an interview with GFS here.
[waves hello]
I read the blog through Google Reader – it’s a great tool. It gets updated automatically when there’s a new post in any of my subscribed blogs, and you can create folders to group blogs together. You’re grouped with dovegrey, Cornflower, mostlybooks and a couple of others.
Hi – I’m another who gets updates on your blog through Google Reader. Thought I’d mention that I’ve just finished reading ‘The Summer Book’ on your recommendation and really enjoyed it.
I subscribe to your blog in Bloglines.
I don’t remember how I found your blog, but it must have something to do with the Bodleian–my favorite place in Oxford.
My TBR list expands every time I read one of your posts. Thank you.
I linked to your blog today! More Google readers?

I have been a “lurker” always reading. Waves Hello to you! I read you in Google :) Have a great day!
I subscribe you your blog on Livejournal. I think I found you through dpvegrey or some blogger who is on one of my listservs.
I just figured out — maybe three weeks ago — how to use google reader. I also have a button up there that lets me subscribe to a feed when I come across a blog I like, like yours, in fact!
Another lurker here, though in terms of technophilia, I’m out and proud! Keep up the great work.
I also get your blog through Google Reader. That way I know right away when you’ve updated and I don’t miss a thing!!!
I’ve been reading your blog via Google Reader for quite some time, though this was one of the first blogs I followed regularly before I switched to Google Reader. It’s quite useful to keep track of all the blogs I read, since there are quite a lot of them by now.
Google Reader. All the cool kids use it :-)
