By the way, because I’m using WordPress.org rather than WordPress.com, I can’t use their built-in spam filter. So I’m trying a plug-in that may send proper comments to spam… I’ll experiment with it, and any others (recommendations welcome!) and we’ll see where we get to. If you do try to comment and it doesn’t work for ages, maybe let me know on Twitter @stuck_inabook :)

This isn’t about the spam thing, but it’s the weirdest thing. I am on blogspot, and I cannot add your new blog address. It adds okay when I do the usual thing, but then it appears on my bloglist as the old blog. This didn’t happen with Thomas’ change. I added his just fine, and other people over the years who have switched. I’ve tried many times and I just can’t do it. I guess I’ll just keep the old address and do the extra step of going there and clicking on the new address.
That’s so bizarre, Nan – you’re the third person who has had that happen. I can’t explain it at all!
I wonder if it’s got something to do with the way I imported the old blog… but I don’t know why that would happen.
If adding via RSS is an option, then http://www.stuckinabook.com/feed/ might work? (I am so clueless!)
I’m pleased to say mine has just updated itself this evening, and shows the latest post, and links beautifully – but I didn’t do anything to it all, which is kind of spooky! I
i don’t even really know what RSS is. :<) But I am happy to know it is not just me. And it isn't that big a deal to go to the old blog and click link to new blog. You are worth the extra step, you know!
It seems to have sorted itself out now! :)
I did not do anything to change your address (I follow you using bloglovin.com) and it took me right here to you new blog addy. So that worked smoothly.
I think I managed to do sneaky things to the old blog’s RSS feed!
