Peas in a Podcast #4

For the niche audience who enjoy listening to me and my brother Colin witter on about nothing, here’s the much-delayed (because editing is boring) fourth episode of ‘Peas in a Podcast’! Now also available through podcast apps etc, though you might have to search ‘peas in a podcast Simon Colin’, or something, because lots of other people had the same idea as us…

Enjoy!

gentlemen … one ‘famous’ Simon is Simon Templar … ‘The Saint’ part played by Roger Moore …

and for fellows named Colin there is Colin Greenland, noted science fiction author here in Cambridge and partner of Susanna Clarke author of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell … also there is Colin Wilson born in 1931 who became famous overnight when ‘The Outsider’ was published …

The Outsider has been translated into over thirty languages (including Russian and Chinese) and never been out of print since publication day of Monday, 28 May 1956. Wilson wrote much of it in the Reading Room of the British Museum, and during this period was, for a time, living in a sleeping bag on Hampstead Heath.

He wrote many books about the paranormal & other silly stuff but supported himself with his work his entire life …
