Another episode of ‘Peas in a Podcast’, the podcast I make with my brother Colin – and in which we largely talk nonsense. In this episode, we discuss cushions, school musicals, and giving up tea for Lent. As usual, all the most pressing issues of the day.
- Tea or Books? #70: Simon Takes a Tour of Rachel’s Bookshelves
- Stuck in a Book’s Weekend Miscellany
Cushions *are* a pressing issue. The wrong kind of cushion can ruin the reading experience… ;D
You guys are a great comedy duo! I never knew anyone could carry on such a sustained conversation about cushions.
Where do you all keep your washing machine and dryer if not in a laundry room? :D
When I studied abroad in the UK, my classmates and I got soaked walking from the university in Aberystwyth, Wales, down to the train station and then had to ride the train with wet jeans for several hours. No cup of tea was available for us, but I’m sure I could have used one (or several)!
Thanks Elizabeth! We have the advantage of having had these debates many times before ;)
And we have our washing machines in our kitchens, usually! I hadn’t realised how controversial this was outside the UK until a Twitterstorm last year. And I don’t have a dryer – old-fashioned clothes horses and washing lines.
