I really enjoyed the 1937 club. Thank you very much for your co hosting. Like Madame Bibi, I must now start tracking down titles for 1970. That year is not completely before my time – for some of it I could not see much of the world with my own eyes!

I’d already read several 1937 books and then couldn’t get library copies of the few remaining ones that interested me. Hope to have more success in 1970
Excellent choice! 1970 is one of those taunting years for ACOB since there were so many books published that I all want to read. Happy to hear I’ll have an excuse to do so!

I think 1970 is another great choice. I’m instantly thinking of several writers from that period who I might be able to read. Quite different to the 1937 club too.

wow, another big year. I have read at least 12 books, and I have 5 on my TBR!
I like this change of pace to a later year. I haven’t checked my book catalog to see what I have available yet, but I am sure I will find some.
