This Friends quote is brought to you to tell you that I’m going on a little summer blogging break for a few weeks – not sure exactly how long it will be, because I’m moving house and who knows how long it takes for internet to be set up. More about the move and everything when I’m back!
This also means that ‘Tea or Books?’ is on hiatus for a little while too, I’m afraid. Hope you’re all reading something wonderful – let me know in the comments if there’s anything particularly great I should be keeping an eye out for.
Moving house, I don’t envy you that, but I hope your new place will be congenial for reading and blogging and that you settle in comfortably soon:)
Love the Friends reference! Hope the move goes smoothly.
Are you going to finally merge your libraries: books from your parents and books from your apartment?
Impossible to unpack books after a move without starting to re-read at least half of them. Looking forward to resumed transmission.
Hope the move goes well! I’m very much enjoying A Lady and Her Husband in the first of my hopefully three Persephone reads this month.
Hope the move goes well Simon – just as long as your books get safely to the new place, that’s all that really matters isn’t it? :))))))
My best tip for moving day is….kettle, tea bags and mugs in a small box or hamper on the seat next to you. It’s a nightmare if you can’t have a cup of tea when you’re most desperate! All the best.
What excitement! I hope it all goes smoothly, and that you and your books settle in nicely. Let me know if you need help or temporary storage for anything. Good luck.
Hope the move goes well. I read something wonderful . Prepare to be amazed, because I read We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and LOVED it!!!
I saw! In fact, I emailed you about Jackson with some books going spare – did you get my email? :)
Just replied – been at my mother’s in Ledbury, which is a beautiful place, but a kind of black hole for modern communications!
Have a good blogging break! I hope that your moving goes super well and that you encounter no hiccups whatsoever. Moving is terrible but you will get through it and then everything will be calm and organized and lovely and you can put all your books in an organized book situation.
